Force, Ambleside. Dr. Taylor has detected it near Dublin,
and Mr. W. Wilson and Mr. Bowman in other situations
in England:—so that it will probably prove to be not
uncommon.
It is well distinguished by the glossy deep green, and
subdiaphanous foliage, which induced its estimable discoverer
to give it the name of hyalina.—W. J. H.
