Hab. On the low moist soils of the Columbia. Douglas.—This is the same plant with that described
in the Botany of Capt. Beechey’s Voyage. Mr. Douglas remarks that the “ stems are from two to three feet
high,” from which expression it may probably be inferred that it is not a procumbent plant.
