A t night hazy with a heavy
dew; soundings 52 fathoms.
To-day we quitted the Straits
of Formosa, and stood towards
the Yellow Sea. Last evening
we were among a cluster of
large islands hear the coast of
China, about two-thirds of the
way through the Straits of Formosa.
