A fine infeft o f the Papilio tribe, nearly allied to Papilio Podalirius, though perfeftly diftinft. W e
have obferved this undefcribed fpecies only in th e cabinet o f Mr. Francillon. I t was obtained by this
gentleman from Dr. W h ite , who refided for some time in N ew South Wales. T h e upper figure in
the plate reprefents this Butterfly in a refting pofition, th e lower one shews th e upper furface, having
th e wings expanded.
