Th is, as well as th e two preceding fpecies o f the Thynnus genus, is defcribed by Fabricius, from
fpecimens co lled e d in N ew Holland, and preferved in th e cabinet o f Sir Jofeph Banks, Bart. Several
other fpecies o f this curious genus have been recently difcovered in New South Wales, and other parts
o f N ew Holland.
