The female has the forehead, face, and throat grey; crown of the head mottled grey and pale bnmstone-
vei™ which latter colour predominates on the lower part of the back, where it becomes a most pure
yellow; under surface grey, washed with brimstone-yellow on the breast, upper part of the abdomen, and
M I lower part of the Hanks streaked with brown ; wings and tail as in the male, but more conspicuously
margined; npper tail-coverts tipped with white ; bill, feet, and irides as in the male.
