This is the official coronation medal. The Queen is represented
between the chief objects of her affection. She had
evinced her firm attachment to the Protestant Religion in refusing
the hand of Charles, son of the Emperor Leopold I.,
when the prospects were fair of his succeeding to the kingdom
of Spain and to the Empire.
