* I kHIS grows in clufters, and confifts of a ingle; upright, pellucid filament, four
1 lines high. It is pellucid and white, fullaining a fmall, globular head, like a
minute pearly drop, with a black fpot on its upper part; which give the globe-the refemblance
of an eye in. miniature. Grows on horfe-dung, in cloudy mornings;
perilhes when the fun ihines upon it. Found in Auguft and September, in fields about
Halifax.
