' I VHE globular head in this is at firft of a pure white colour, afterwards becomes of
X a browniih yellow, and when the cover breaks, it difcovers a yellow coloured
dawny net-work, replete with feeds; after the difcharge whereof, a black globe remains,
as at a. b. The plant is a littliÄnagnified at c. d.
This plant njarly refembles the laft, and may poffibly be only a variety of it.

ATT^HE head in this is globular, and of^a brown colour; it is the iize'of a large poppy
feed, and is fupported on a brown ficm about twice its length. This fpecies is
diftinguiihed from its congeners by an oblong, fwollen,' tranfparent bafe, a;s ,in the
magnified figures, a.b.c. The brown cover breaks, as¡ at b. and entirely yanilhesi as
at c. The feeds are expreffed at d. Grows in the chinks of old dry wood, &c. at
all feafons.

This plant makes the link which unites the Clalhrus with the MucOr.

' a VHIS is feffile, grows in numerous clutters, the fee of a poppy feed, and of a'
X dufky yellow. It is turban-ihaped, adhering by a narrow bafe. 'I'he cover breaks
near the top in various lacirne, and the network fwells out of the rupture, for the ¿ifcharge
