magnis irregularibus ejusdem substantiae colorisque ac pagina superior interspersus. Lacinice stellatim
extrorsum expansae: ultimae angustiores plerumque divaricatq-furcatae. Margines thalli integerriini aut
sparsiter gränulatb-dentati etiam in sicco revoluti, in humido ita connivent ut lacinias tubulosas reddunt;
Exsiccatiöne iterum evolvuntur. Apothecia in margine thalli sparsa, in initio concava margine inflexo,
mox ampla sub-pedicellata flexuosa margineque irregulariter reflexo; supra laminä proligerh flavescenti-
brunneä, nitida, margine thallode earn non excedente sub-cinctä subtus e paginä thalli superiori formata.
Ambitus apotheciorum granulatus repandus aut etiam fissus semper valde irregularis et modo Cetrariarum
sub-liberus. Thallus in sicco fragilis vix tarnen rigidus, madefactus pallet totus et ejus apices interdum
o.iivaceo -virides fiunt. Suntquoque specimina quorum apices colorem viridem etiam in sicco conservent. In
nuda terra late pulvinatim expansus est sed nulla radice humo affixus. Rarius fructificat.
