co-operti. Folia radicalia confertissima, ovali-spathulata, obtusa vel acutiuscula, basi in petiolum
laminam subæquantém attenuata, crassa ut venæ nullæ transparent, vestigium tantum nervi medii erubes-

palmares, ascendentes, foliis paucis lanceolatis, basi attenuatis, sessilibus muniti, pubescentiâ ut in foliis.
Corymbus tenninalis, sæpius 3-florus, rarius 1,2-vel 4-florus, sub-dichotomus. Pedunculi sub anthesin flores
æquantes vel excedentes, postea paulo elongati, stellatim pilosi, ad apicem paulo incrassati, divaricati, post
anthesin sæpius recurvi. Calyx petalis brevior, pilis stellatis incanus, sepalis lineari-lanceolatis, concavis,
subæqualibus, cum petalis deciduis. Petala cuneato-obovata, flava, nervis ramosis saturatius flavis, ungue
latô, linear!, membranaceô, albô, uninervô, cité decidua. Stamina longiora calycem æquantia, filamentis
omnibus subulatis, integris, albis, antheris ochroleucis. Siliculæ magnitudine pisi sativi, pedunculis duplo
v. triplo breviores, biloculares, inflatæ, sub-globosæ sed diametro ad dissepimentum minori, septo membra*
naceo facile in laminas duas separabili, stylo persistente brevi (semi-lineam longo) filiformi et stigmate orbi-
culato pubescenti coronatæ. Semina in loculo singulo 6 aut plura, biserialia, pyriformia, superne confer-
tiora. In arenosis, lat. 67°.
