T h is is a curious diminutive F e rn , with somewhat balloonshaped
fronds.
A n evergreen greenhouse species, growing upon rocks.
A native of N ew H o llan d and Australia.
The sterile and fertile fronds are v ery different in form and
size. The sterile ones are ro undish ovate, being decu rren t at
the base; whilst the fertile fronds are linear, being b lu n t at the
apex, and decu rren t also at the base. Both forms of frond arc
