Avhatever. This will be found extremely useful to the cultivator,
for first one class of F erns Avill spring u p , and then another,
so th a t many species may be propagated upon the same board.
I t seems very desirable to give every facility for the spores
of the F erns to germinate, as seedlings are frequently raised in
this n atural manner, when every effort and care to produce
them ruider glass has resulted in disappointment.
