Fe rn is a native of Jamaica.
A stove species, introduced into this country by 3Ir. E.
Sim, of Foot’s Cray, iu the year 18-59.
Fronds tripinnate, cuneate in form. Habit more spreading
than erect; crown erect, and freely covered with reddish or
brownish scales.
Length of frond from nine to twelve inches, of which the
stipes occupies one half.
