I 'h e fronds, which are coriaceo-membranaceous, arc ovate-
pinnated, the pinntc petiolate and slightly scaly; the apex
L unrinate and lengthy; base unequally cuneate. ^

becoming smaller from the base to the apex of the fiond.

Sort costate and elongate, distant from the margin. Indusmm
membranaceous. Caudex erect and scaly.
L ength of frond from twelve to twenty-four inches, length
of pinnto from two to three inches; breadth of pinmc about
an in ch ; number of piiinai from eight to ten pans.
The fronds, which arc eventually glabrous, arc deep green
in colour.
