Native of Oahu, Sandwich Islands, Luzon, Neilgherries, and
Ceylon.
The fronds, which are pinnate, have linear-lanceolate attenuate
pinna;, the pinna; being inciso-serrate; base more or less cuneate.
Pinna; distant below, becoming approximate above; opposite or
sub-opposite below, alternate above, and of equal size except
near the apex. Petiolate.
Sori contiguous, or parallel with the costa.
Stipes and rachis slightly scaly.
