A H A N D SOM E foi'm of the H a r t’s-tongue Lern, gathered b y
several persons in various limestone districts.
Crenate on the margins, with a marginal line on the under
surface, and multifidly furcate at the apex. Narrow, and apices
pointed. Ve ry scaly, especially near the midrib.
Length from twelve to twenty-four inches, and from one
inch to one inch and a quarter broad.
