H yd num Auriscalpium ; pileo horizontali, coriaceo, tomentoso, aculeisque sub-
spadiceis; stipite erecto, laterali, tomentoso.
H. pileus horizontal, coriaceous, tomentose, of a brownish colour, as well
as the spines; stipes erect, lateral, tomentose.
