A dult female. Similar to the male, but rather browner above and lighter slaty-grey below ;
sides of face and throat brownish-black, the latter with remains of whitish edges to the feathers ;
under tail-coverts edged with whitish ; axillaries and under wing-coverts slaty-grey, edged with dull
orange. Total length |1 | inches, culmen 0 9, wing 4'6, tail 3'8, tarsus 1-05.
