truncate, glabrous, pinnules g radually smaller as the ape.x of the
frond is approached. Sterile fronds coarsely serrato-dentate.
Rachis fusco-pubescciit. Stipes dull black, minutely muricato-
scabrous.
Sori semi-oval, generally confined to the supe rior margin;
when the sori e.xtends round the point the apex becomes very
obtuse.
