HaouL :\lr. Cunningham, the discoverer, seems to have refe rred
th e p resent F e rn to the former of these species; y et, from Sir
A\ illiam H o o k e r’s description, they are seemingly each distinct.
They are all natives of K ew Zealand. Mr. Aioore appears to
