Sori continuous, extending along the d e cu rren t portions to
the apex of the pinnules, and, although margined, n ev e r round
the u p p e r edges, being always on the u n d e r side. Ind u sium
prickly.
L en g th of fioud from twelve to eighteen inches; colour dull
green.
Stipes circular on the u n d e r side, and g re en ; hollowed on
the u p p e r, and d a rk e r green. In a frond in my collection,
twenty inches iu length, the stipes was nearly twelve inches.
