P a rk e r, of H olloway; llollisson, of T ootin g ; 'A. Hen d e rso n , of
Pin e -ap p le P la c e ; A^citch, Ju n ., of Chelsea; Booth, of H am b

of Todmorden.
In very large species, it has been found impossible to figure
a whole frond without reducing it so materially in size, th a t it
is scarcely to be recognised; it has therefore b een deemed
more advisable in these instances to figure portions 011I3' of the
fronds.
T h e illustration is a portion of a frond from a plan t in my
own collection.
