resembling a large P . hastata. I t is not commonly to be met
with, excepting in our larger British collections.
A warm greenhouse evergreen species.
Native of the AYest Indies.
The form of the frond is broadly-ovate, hipinnate. The lowest
pinnæ hav in g from seven to eleven p innules, the rest g radually
decreasing upwards to a simply pinn a ted apex.
