A H AN DSOME A d ia n tum , deserving a place in every collection,
its bold prominent sori and hirsu te stems ren d e r this species
an interesting F e rn . I t is perhaps more generally cultivated
than growers are aware of, being sometimes seen under the
name of cristatum, occasionally th a t of varium aud villosum,
although these species are v ery distinct from A d ia n tum in te rmedium
by having continuous sori.
