P A ganglion in the pofterior branch of the dorfal nei-ve.
CLNervous fibres iffuing From the ganglion P, and joining with the fibres
of the anterior branch fo as to form one cord.
R The branches from the dorfal nerves which run to the back, or the poflrerior
dorfal branches.
SS The trunk or anterior branch of the fifth proper dorfal nerve.
T A ganglion of the great fympathetic nerve joined to the proper dorfal
nerve by two branches, one of which is fixed to it where it fends ofF
the pofterior dorfal branches ; the other is fixed to the trunk or large
anterior branch.
