In juftice to the dexterity and accuracy of my alTiftant in dilTedtion Mr
Fyfe, I think it proper to obferve, that the nerves reprefented in this tabic
were diiTecled by him, at my requeft, as, at the time I wanted the drawings
to be made, I had not leifure rayfelf to profecute them with all the
care which fo delicate a fubjeft requires.
In all thefe Three Figures, but efpecially in Fig III- the nerves are reprefented
by the engraver larger than natural.
