by the joining of the recurrent nerves with the fuperior
laryngeal, and the termination of their branches in the

R The epiglottis.
S The thyroid cartilage drawn downwards after cutting the ligaments
which tie it to the os liyoides.
T The poftcrior and inferior corner of the thyroid cartilage, articulated
with the cricoid cartilage.
