projecting more on one side o f the suture than on
the other. S k in moderately downy, o f a uniform
daik red n ex t the sun, and of a fine pale y e llow on
the shaded part, mottled with bright red at the
junction o f the colours. F lesh pale yellow, rayed
with red at the stone, from which it parts freely.
S tone very small, bluntly oval, not particularly
rugged. F lavour good when upon an open wall,
excellent when forced.
