which is deep, and terminates in a projecting point
situated towards the back, beyond the axis of the
fru it ; back nearly straight.
S kin downy, of a fine bright orange red next
the sun, with spots of deeper r e d ; pale orange on
the other side. F lesh parting from the stone,
orange-coloured, juicy, rich. S tone brown, much
flattened, oval, sharp on the front, perforated along
the back, from the base to the apex. K ernel
bitter.
