Leaves middle-sized, dark green, rather evenly
serrated, slightly concave, roundish, acuminate.
F lowers o f the ordinary size and appearance.
F ruit about the middle size, very handsome
deep yellow, with a number of rich brownish orange-
red spots and blotches next the s im ; in form nearly
spherical, not compressed like the Moorpark. F lesh
pale yellow, firm, juicy, sweet, with a little acid,
very rich and excellent. S tone separating fre e ly ;
in figure like that of the Moorpark, but without the
hole of that variety. K erne l quite sweet, like
th a t of an almond.
