F lowers large, and resembling those of the
May Duke, but opening later.
F ruit large, the size of a May Duke, bluntly
heart-shaped, somewhat compressed, with a shallow
depression on one side. S kin a rich shining
red. F lesh tender, juicy, amber-coloured, and
rich, of the same quality as a May Duke. S tone
rather large, roundish-ovate, compressed.
