Leaves large, pendulous, waved on the margin,
evenly, serrated, deep g r e en ; veins prominent b e neath.
F lowers la r g e ; petals roundish oval, concave,
and imbricating ; stamens shorter than the styles.
F r u it large, heart-shaped, with an uneven
surface, and o f a shining purplish black colour.
F lesh purplish, ju icy and rich. S tone middle-
sized, roundish ovate.
