O p i n i o n seems divided as to whether the Asplenium appen-
(Hculatum should rank as a species, or be merely considered
as a seedling variety of A . hulbiferum; however until more is
-'known regarding it, we shall perhaps he acting wisely by
regarding this interesting and easily-grown Pern as a distinct
species.
Introduced into England in the year 1832.
An evergreen greenhouse species.
A native of A'an Diemen’s Land, New Holland, and Australia.
