A HANDSOME exhibition plant; known in this country as early
as 1779, and introduced into the Koyal Gardens, Kew, in 183.3.
An evergreen greenhouse species.
Native of the Island of Madeira.
The fronds, which are glabrous, are somewhat ovate in form,
tripinnate; pinnæ lanceolate, the basal ones standing forwards;
pinnules lanceolate. Segments linear-oblong; apex circular; the
margin crenato-dentate; lower ones remote and pinnatifid.
