at the base of the ¡lai-tial rachis. Segments ovate, iiimiatifid,
or dcetily and shaiqily inciso-deutato. A small white bristle-like
stiinc arises from the base of the segment on each side of the
luirtial rachiscs, and also from the union of the veins along
the middle of the segment. Veins iirominent on the ujijier
surface of the segment, and terminated by a white iiollucid
line in the middle of the teeth.
Sori short, oblique; indusium whitish, and slightly crescentshaped.
The. sporangia are prettily striped with white bands of various
shapes vq)on a pale green-coloured ground, the elastic ring
girding them being brown, with belts of green and white
markings.

and much information regarding this obscure and uncommon
species.
Under stovc culture the A . strigillosum flourishes well.
