DIPLA ZIUM. Sw a r t z .
A SM A L L genus, having fronds simple, pinnate, or bi-tripinnate,
and from ten to sixty inches iu length.
The veins forked or pinnate, the venules free, differing from
Asplenium in being sporangiferous on both sides, (instead of
on the superior side only,) constituting binate, linear sori.
Indusium plane.
We have no British example.
