Y O U R Majesty having been gracioufly
pleafed to permit my late brother C aptain G eorge
V ancouver, to prefent to YOUR MAJESTY the
Narrative of his labours during the execution of
your commands in the Pacific Ocean, I prefume
to hope, that, fince it has pleafed
the Divine Providence to withdraw him from
Y our Majesty’s fervice, and from the fociety
of his friends, before he could avail himfelf of
that condefcenfion, Y our Majesty will, with
