Caudex brevis, crassus, horlzontalis, superne squamis numerosissimis, fulvis, llneari-lanceolatis, serratis obsitus,
inferne radiculis fiUformibus ramosis pilosis obtectus.
Stipes nullus.
Frondes plurimæ fere ex eodem puucto caudicis, subpedales, erectæ, oblongo-lanceolatæ, teneræ, membranaceæ,
costatæ atque furcatim parallelo-nervosæ, apice breviter acuminatæ, basi longe attenuatæ, utrinque sed margine
costaque præcipue squamuloso-pilosæ, squamulis subulatis fuscis. Color læte viridis. Frons fei-tilis sterili
duplo triplove minor.
Capsulæ numerosissimæ, dorsum frondis totum tegentes ; fuscoe, sphæricæ, pedicellatæ.
Semina pallida, fusca, pellucido-reticulata, ovali-oblonga, vel subreniformia.
