Cauàcx gracillimus, filiformis, repens, radicuüs fibrosis pilosis hic iîlic descendentibus.
Stipes quoque gracillimus, duas lineas etiam ad duas vel tres uncias longus, fuscus, superne subalatus, paululum
hivsutus.
Froits forma variat, nunc, circumscriptione, ovata, et unciam vel sesquiunciam longa, nunc bi-tripollicaris, cii-cum-
scriptione lanceolata, pinnata, pinnis infimis solummodo liberis, reliquis decurrentibus, coadunatis, (et ita
pinnatifida est froiis,) linearibus, obtusis, inferioribus bifidis, palmatisve {Svsartz.), vel etiam pinnatifidis
[Hæiike), omnibus costatis, costa tenui aterrima, et undique pulcberrime stellatim villosis.
Sori præcipue in pinnis laciniisve superioribus frondis, solitarii, terminales.
Involucrum, ail margines præcipue, stellato-pilosum; parte inferiore cuneata, immersa, superiore libera, bivalvi,
valvis semiorbiculiu'ibus.
Receptaadjim pavvuin, inclusum.
Capsidoe parva, fuscoe, peltatoe, annido integro cinctæ.
Semina ovalia, subpellucida, pallido fusco-ilavescentia.
