Frondes stériles fertilibus dissimiles, coriaceoe.
Stériles breviter stipitatæ, 4—5 uncias longæ, lato- vel oblongo-lanceolatoe, integerrimæ, utrinque glabræ, siccitate
margine revoluta?, costatæ, penninerviæ, nervis obscuris, apice acutæ, basi rotundatæ.
Fertiles pedales, Iineares vel Iineari-lanceolatæ, integerrimæ, mai-gine subrevolutæ, superne glabræ, subtus
(costa prominente excepta) lana compacta alba e pilis pulcberrime stellatis, ubique tectæ, apice acuminatoe,
basi in petiolum bi-triuncialem sensim attenuatæ.
Sori numerosi, magni, convexi, oblongi, lineatim dispositi, primum pilis stellatis pedicellatis albis omnino tecti.
CapndiE longe pedicellatæ.
Semina oblonga, subreniformia, non raro, ad utramque exti-emitatem, appendiculo aucta, flava.
