Native of the E a st Indies and the Islan d of Ceylon.
The fronds, which are somewhat erect, are ¡linnate, lanceolate
acuminate in form, the pinnæ being petiolate, undulated,
glabrous, and linear-acuminate in form, the margin crenate,
with a row of spinulose teeth. The fertile pinnæ narrow.
