A n interesting and very distinct handsome Fern.
A n evergreen stove species.
Native of the AVest Indies, Alexico, and Tropical America.
Intro d u c ed into the Royal Gardens, Kew, in 1841, having
been received from the Messrs. Loddiges.
Fe rtile and sterile fronds dissimilar. Sterile fronds glabrous,
pinnate, with oblong-acuminate pinnæ; superior base rounded.
