Native of Brazil.
Intro d u c ed into the Royal Gardens, Kew, in the year 1841,
having been received from the Alessrs. Loddiges.
Fronds simple. Sterile frond oblong-lanceolate and acuminate,
the stipes being onc-third of the length of the frond, and u n d
u la ted ; the stipes, rachis, and margin of the frond covered
with long cordate scales of a brown colour. F e rtile frond
much smaller, oblong-lanceolate, and acuminate, the stipes
