An evergreen stove species.
Native of Tropical America, Africa, and Asia—Mexico and
tire "West Indies.
In troduced into the Iloyal Gardens, Kew, in the year 1784.
The fronds, which are broadly lanceolate in form, are pinn
ate; the pinnæ sessile, profoundly pinnatifid, lanceolate, and
having linear-oblong, sub-falcate segments, which have an acute
apex, and are largest near the rachis.
