Calix half-cleft, or S-toothed. Corolla sub-campanulate, unequally S-lobed, segments,
mostly rounded. Capsule 2-celled, opening at the summit. Nutt.
SPECIFIC CHARACTER.
Paniculate branched, leaves linear; peduncles axillary, opposite, longer than the
flowers. Willd.
