Campsosternus brassy green; the sides of the pronotuni margined aud cyaneouSj and shglitly siiiuated before the
middle, with a small excavation on each side beyond the middle, the disk depressed and coppery, having a rather
raised longitudinal central carina of rich glossy pm'ple, the hind angles also piu'ple ; the elytra rather convex, rather
more coppery beyond the middle, the sutiu'e and lateral margins cyaneous, the disk seen through a lens is very
finely granulosa, and each elytron has nine very fine stride scarcely visible ; the body beneath is pm'ple-cyaneous,
with the sides of the thorax and metasternum and the abdomen more coppery ; the antennas and legs chalybeous.

Campsosternus oeneus, elytris magis auratis capite inter oculos bicanaUculato, antennis brevioribus cyaneis ; pronoto

Campsosternus brassy with the elj'tra more golden coloiu'ed ; tlie head is marked with two longitudinal impressions
between the eyes ; the antemicG rather short and cyaneous ; the pronotum convex, and very glossy ; the sides
before the middle are scarcely sinuated, aud are pm-plish-red ; the brassy disk has two impressions preceding the
posterior margin ; the elytra are glossy, and impressed mth minute punctures, visible only under a lens ; the base
is mai'ked with several short deeper longitudinal strioe ; the body is colom'ed beneath as above ; the legs are brassy
black.
Length of the insect nearly 1 inch. Inhabits Assam. Communicated by !Major Jenkins. Named in honour of
the President of the Entomological Society of Stettin.

Campsosternus postice valde acuminatus, supra viridi-auratus loe-v-is, capite pimctato, facie impressione ovali
profunda, pronoto impressionibus duabus obliquis prope medium marginis postici, lateribus iutegris vitta lata
fen'uginea, margine ipso elevate oeneo, subtus aurato-oeneus, nitidissimus, prothoracis latei-ibus ferrugmeo-vittatis,
pedibus aureo-ceneis.
Campsosternus very much attenuated posteriorly, above golden green, smooth, the head puuctm-ed, the face with
a deep oval impression ; the pronotum with the sides entire, and with two obliciue impressions near the middle of
the posterior mai'gin, the sides with a broad ferruginous band, the margin itself being elevated and brassy ; beneatli
brassy gold-coloured and very glossy ; sides of the prothorax broadly banded with ferruginous ; the legs brassy-golden.
Elytra deeply impressed at the base.

Campsosternus latus nitidissimus, supra cy.aneo-viridis elytris basi parum punctato-striatis ; capite nigro occipite
concavo ; lateribus prothoracis purpureo late vittatis, marginatis iutegris; corpore subtus cyaneo nitidissimo lateribus
thoracis et abdominis purpurco-tinctis; pedibus cyaneis, fcmoribus castaneo-rufis.
Campsosternus broad, convex, and very glossy; above blue-green, elytra at the base slightly pimctate-striate, the
head black with the crown concave ; the sides of the prothor.ax broadly banded with reddish-purple margined and
entire ; body beneath cyaneous, very glossy, the sides of the thorax and abdomen tinged with purple; legs cyaneous,
thighs chcsnut-rod.
