DESCRIPTIONS OP CRANIA.
British sepulchral remains, a sort of axiom, though with certain limitations, has now been
established, to this effect:—jDolichotapMc barrows — Dolichocephalic crania-, BrachytapMc
barrows—Br achy cephalic crania-. Long-barrows—Long skulls ; Bound barrows—Bomid or
short skulls. Por other inferences deducible, in the writer's view, from the data here briefly
aUuded to, he must refer to a memoir contributed by him to the Anthropological Societies of
London and Paris, during the present year.
Type of British gold coin found at Jtodmarton.
