GENERIC CHARACTER.
Upper lip of the calix dilated. Filaments of the stamina forked, only one of the
points bearing an anther. Stigma bifid.
SPECIFIC CHARACTER.
Leaves petiolate, lanceolate, dentate at the base; calix lips equal, the upper truncated,
three-awned j stem ascendant. Willd.
