more acute than the others at the fork of the umbels, which are two in
number, loose-flowered. Flowers white, small, on filiform pedicels.
Root long, horizontal, tubercular, of a yellow-ochre colour, with lighter-
coloured fibres. Grows generally in shady places. Flowers from May
to July.
